Susan Yondt, who is a Professor of Piano at the Royal Academy of Music, Stockholm, Sweden will be in town to perform a solo recital for 'The Friends of Vienna' music series on November 20, 2022 at 3:30 PM at the Unity Church, 1243 Delaware Ave. Buffalo,14209. She is extremely talented and will perform a concert with commentary featuring works by Mozart, Schubert, Chopin, and Swedish composer, Hugo Alfvén. Tickets are $15 for adults and $5 for students.
This is the kind of concert that is heard rarely in this area!

Their program will include Messian’s Quartet for The End of Time and Bela Bartók's Contrasts
Tiffany Du Mouchelle, Soprano; Amy Williams, Pianist.
The Friends of Vienna will present soprano, Tiffany Du Mouchelle, professor of voice at SUNY at Buffalo with pianist, Amy Williams, professor of composition at the University of Pittsburgh in a concert titled "Decadence and Debauchery" It will feature late Romantic Lieder contrasted with songs from the German and American cabaret traditions of the 20th century. The program includes works by Claude Debussy and Clara Schumann as well as selections from Austrian composer Arnold Schoenberg's Brettl-Lieder and airs from the late UB composer, Yvar Mikhashoff.

On April 30 at 3:30 PM at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church,1080 Main St. Buffalo,14209, the Friends of Vienna in conjunction with Holy Trinity Lutheran Church present guitar duo, Stephen Guerra and Sungmin Shin in a program titled 'Viva Brasil", a collection of newly composed traditional and contemporary style-Brazilian music.
This is a FREE performance for the entire Western New York community made possible with funds from the Statewide Community Regrant program of the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of the Office of the Governor and the New York State Legislature and administered by Arts Services Inc.” .
